Curitiba
The capital city of the Brazilian state of Parana is Curitiba. Characterised as having the largest population and having the largest economy in Southern Brazil, it is the seat of important political, cultural and economic entities of the country. Subsequently, it is also a big player in sports, entertainment, arts and museums, to name just a few of Curitiba highlights.

It was the first city in Brazil to have an IMAX cinema, which is located in Palladium Shopping, the biggest mall in Southern Brazil. So, if you want to combine fun through shopping and watching films, you can visit any of Curitiba’s popular theatres. The Curitiba Theatre Festival is held annually in April with different famous actors and personalities gracing the Curitiba theatres.
