First off, Brazilian stores generally open at nine in the morning and close at seven in the evening, from Monday to Saturday. The supermarkets in the country, however, open at eight in the morning and close at ten in the evening, still from Monday to Saturday. These schedules are not that fixed though since preferences of shop owners and local holidays can affect them.
